Jessica Arboleda is a passionate community leader, educator, and ordained pastor dedicated to empowering individuals and families through transformative programs and services. Inspired by a divine vision, Jessica founded a Community Center, which addresses the diverse needs of the local community with compassion and purpose.
Under Jessica's leadership, the Last Community Center operated eleven mobile food pantries, serving nearly 56,000 families monthly. The center also provided six distinct programs, including a personalized English as a Second Language (ESL) initiative that fosters confidence and dignity in learners by incorporating essential skills training such as finance and technology. Additionally, Jessica champions a court-approved program where families—both adults and children—learn non-violent conflict resolution, cultivating healthier relationships within the community.
Jessica’s approach to community service is grounded in the belief that genuine connections transcend cultural and linguistic barriers. As she eloquently puts it, “People fear mingling with others due to language or cultural discomfort, but we can learn so much from one another.” Emphasizing the importance of empathy, Jessica encourages open communication and invites others to join her in bridging gaps, reminding them that “God fills the spaces between us with love.”

Jessica has a strong professional foundation, with extensive experience in both finance and nonprofit management. As the Founder and Executive Director of Open Door Community Center since July 2021, she has been instrumental in expanding programs to meet the evolving needs of her community. Prior to that, she served as a Site Pastor and Financial Director for Spanish Ministries, fostering spiritual growth and community integration.

Personal Life
Originally from Colombia, Jessica resides in Hackensack, NJ, with her husband, Guillermo Reyes, and their blended family. Together, they have been serving as a ministry couple, focusing on marriage counseling and spiritual direction. Jessica cherishes her roles as a stepmother to Angie Reyes and as a nurturing figure to Sebastian Cárdenas, whom they recently welcomed into their family.
